OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL SOURCING

At Toneloom, we believe that responsible craftsmanship begins long before a product reaches your home. We are dedicated to ensuring that the people and communities behind our work are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Our ethical sourcing practices reflect internationally recognized labor standards and align with global efforts to eradicate forced labor and human trafficking.

Verification

Every supplier we work with must adhere to a strict set of ethical requirements. As part of their partnership agreement, all manufacturers certify that their operations comply with our standards—explicitly prohibiting child labor, involuntary labor, and any form of human trafficking throughout their supply chains.

Auditing

To maintain accountability, we maintain ongoing communication with our suppliers and conduct both planned and unannounced inspections. These reviews help ensure that facilities uphold our labor and human rights expectations, including our zero-tolerance stance on unethical labor practices.

Certification

Suppliers are required to provide annual documentation confirming that their practices comply with applicable laws and remain free of forced or trafficked labor. This certification also applies to any subcontractors or secondary facilities involved in the production process.

Internal Accountability

Everyone within our organization is held to the same ethical expectations. Team members who violate laws related to forced labor, trafficking, or workers’ rights are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Training & Awareness

Employees involved in sourcing and supplier relations receive continuous training focused on identifying labor-related risks and ensuring responsible oversight. This includes education on recognizing red flags, understanding regional labor challenges, and taking swift action when concerns arise.

Corrective Action

If a partner fails to meet our ethical standards, we reserve the right to require immediate corrective measures or end the business relationship altogether. Protecting workers' rights and maintaining integrity within our supply chain takes precedence above all else.
